Day 622 S.F. Anti-War Protest picture 55

I took this picture of a picture over a week ago and wasn't able to post it before midnight. Since then I haven't taken any pictures. I At this rate I might never get to a year straight with a picture a day. In any case I am taking a break to have my camera repaired and to do a few things that need doing. Hopefully I can get started again soon and go for a year straight.

One note about this picture, it has always been my favorite protest picture.

I wanted to photograph a four leaf clover for Saint Patrick's Day but I couldn't find any. There is a bit of green in a tiny rainbow in one of the blurry light orbs.

I drive by this old place often. I'd love to go back there and photograph the old cars they have. However, I know they don't like strangers. Don't ask.

Day 617 Steven

I was walking Smokey when I saw Steven sitting in front of this house. Smokey thinks everyone is his friend so of course Smokey tried to get to him. Steven was allowed me to photograph him and then he pet Smokey.

I went for a drive in the dismal rain looking to photograph a scene from the country side. It wasn't long before I came upon this abandoned house.

Day 609 German Shepherd Adoption Day

Part of being a foster doggie mom is bringing your foster dog to a an adoption day once a month. For Whisper and I that day was today in front of Pet Smart. Whisper had a few interested people and the couple who actually took her was the second interested party. However they were the first to talk to her adoption coordinator. So the third interested party lost out as they still looking at all their options while this couple was walking Whisper with their dog to see about compatibility. They liked her and are fostering to adopt. I hope it works out as they seem like a nice couple who will give her a great home. They are at top with Whisper on the left and their own shepherd on the right.

Before They took Whisper out for evaluation I was sitting by her crate. A perfect place to snap a few pictures of all the people passing by. And I do mean a few, as Whisper was taken away pretty quick. She is an awesome dog.

I love the picture of this woman walking with her two chihuahuas. I also love the picture of this guy who noticed me taking pictures and lowered himself to be in it. I wish I could have told him it wasn't necessary, as he was going to be in it anyway.

I am happy with both except I wish they were better focused.

I drive by this place often. I have tried to photograph it several times and it never comes out the way I envision, so since I am happy with today's pictures of this old abandoned place, I am posting it.

Day 605 Drive to and From Work

The bottom picture is an abandoned building I drive by on occasion. I always want to get a picture of the sun against the front and was lucky to get on today. The drive home picture is on top. He's like "what's that person taking my picture for?" I think that is my favorite picture.
