Day 709 Disney Shakes it Off

Day 708 Disney gets a new background

Poor Disney is molting. It probably feels good to rub his face, and he does it with a smile.

Day 707 Disney

Day 706 Disney gets wet

I left my lights out so I could photograph Disney in hopes he would take a bath. Thank you Disney.

Day 705 Disney

Day 704 Disney lands

I actually took this picture yesterday. It takes so long to post a picture here now-a-days.

Day 703 Charcoal

Day 702 post 3 Green

My husband and I took a short walk through the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens this morning with some of his friends who were visiting from Colorado. The green was beautiful.

Day 702 post 2 Lizard on a Rock

I have always wanted to photograph a lizard. They run so quickly I never thought I'd be able to, but this little guy seemed as curious about me as I was about him.

Day 702 Flying Bee

I have always wanted to photograph a bee by a flower. If it's a pink flower, all the better.

Day 701 Smoky in the Green

Day 700 Smoky in the evening light

As anyone who has ever looked at this site knows, this really isn't Day 700 in a row. Just that I started out with a premise of a photograph a day and kept using the same organizational titles even when I fell short of my goal. But for what it is worth, this is the 700th picture posted.
Smoky had a surgery today. He had a large bloody growth on the side of his neck, hip hip hooray it is gone but now comes two weeks of after care. He was drooply hanging around our hot house so we went out front for a little breeze and some fresh air.

Day 699 Fred and Smoky

It was brutally hot when I got home from work today, so I put the sprinkler on for the dogs. Fred even at 14 years old will get up and in the middle of it all.  Smoky will brave the water only as necessary to get the ball.

6/7/2013 Fred was humanely euthanized a few weeks ago. This was his last foray into the water, his favorite thing.

Day 698 post 3 Appaloosa

Took this picture while driving to work today.
