The day I decided to take a picture a day for a year, my husband and I were enjoying a relaxing day in Monterey. We bought a bottle of wine and toured the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The high-light was when I discovered a jewelry shop with jewelry made of abalone shells. Of course I had to have something from that store. As a long time fan of male peacocks with their brilliantly colored tail feathers fanned out behind them as they show off for the ladies, I picked a piece of jewelry befitting both the peacock and the abalone.
Wow the color is just amazing! I love it : )
