Day 896 DRive to Work

 

This was actually taken yesterday Friday December 4, 2020. I'm posting it today because I forgot due to being tired. I was driving to work and was diverted via detour. While driving I noticed this slim stream of light and thought it quite beautiful and subtle. I whipped out my I-Phone and snapped about three pictures. The thing is the light was slightly yellowish orange as you'd expect for the morning, but also hazy from the bland overcast type morning. I love these simple scenes.

Saturday I asked my husband to buy something fun for me to photograph. He bought several things. I believe this is a Jack Fruit.  I really am not sure.

Today I attempted to again copy a painters still life. It was a painting of silverware in a glass standing on a white square with a grey background. After accomplishing the Little Feat, I added some lavender glitter.

There is a guy who posts images of paintings on Facebook. I always admire the still lives and think I'd like to try and take a picture similar to the painting. This is my second try at this image. The painting is of a pink rose in a clear glass. I'm happy with this one, although not quite like the painting.
