Day 306 Tyler

Tyler has his first appointment with the vet today since we have owned him. It occurred to me that I haven't yet taken a formal portrait of him. I have thought about it, but he is sooooo hyper! I have been working on getting him to sit and then stay there for a minute, so I thought today I would give it a try. He took longer to photograph than my other dogs, who don't cooperate much either, but in the end a piece of bread with peanut butter helped.

  1. I was here to thank you for stopping to help Phoenix, too. If not for your kind soul, he would be gone now.

We have a Phoenix too. He's a lot older than the one you helped, but he was also starved nearly to death...not just once, but twice.
He'll live peacefully and happily ever after, though.
Here's the link to my blg where you can read about our Phoenix. Apologies for the pop-up ads, which you can X out before continuing....unless you have a paid account, LJ inserts the ads, and I honestly would rather spend the money on the horses.

I'm in the process of setting up a blog at Weebly so that the pesky ads go away.

    best,

  2. I just noticed the comments. Usually there are none lol I do this for myself. I can't believe it has been a year since Phoenix was rescued. I have wanted to find time to visit him, but of course time has gotten away. I want to see how beautiful he looks well fed and happy. The pictures Nor Cal Equine has posted... he looks like an entirely different horse. Such a beautiful boy.
