I've been playing a lot lately with the macro lens and getting some neat shots. Why I haven't posted one of them I'm not sure. Maybe they just weren't there. I had one shot of a lady bug staring down an aphid but I felt the aphid couldn't be seen very well as it was in the shade. So this morning when I saw these tiny rose pedals laying on my kitchen windowsill I had to take a picture. I love the shallow depth of field the macro lens gives. I also love how the tiny screen shadows create lines that accent the larger diagonal lines.
