Five years ago I spread some poppy seeds near the back fence of our yard. Each year since poppies have arisen to brighten our life. This time around just one plant graced us with it's presence. I've photographed them each year but now I have a macro lens! and what a different experience it is... Now I have to plant all kinds of wild flowers. Is there any better color than what flowers give us?
I love the perspective! At first glance I wasn't sure if it was a sunset or something else. I would have never guessed poppy. I like it!
